ProLiteracy is the largest adult literacy organization in the United States. Volunteer tutors are matched with adult learners at local member programs and typically meet once or twice a week.

What to expect

• Free tutor training (~6 hours) before you're matched with a learner
• Sessions are 1–2 hours; you and your learner set the schedule
• Materials provided by the local program
