Forgot your password or locked out

If you've forgotten your password or can't get into your account, you can reset it from the forgot-password page. You don't need to remember your current password.

Resetting your password

Go to /forgot-password, enter the email address you signed up with, and submit. A password reset link will be sent to that address.

The link is single-use and expires after a short time. Click it, enter a new password (minimum 10 characters), and submit the form. After a successful reset, all of your existing sessions are signed out automatically: you'll need to sign in again on every device where you were logged in.

Note: in the current pilot, email delivery is not yet live. The reset link is logged internally but is not delivered to your inbox. If you don't receive an email, see the section below.

There is no password-change option in your account settings. Even if you know your current password, the only way to change it is through the forgot-password flow at /forgot-password.

Account lockout

If you enter your password incorrectly 8 times in a row, your account is locked for 15 minutes. During that window, the login page will show an error message and you won't be able to sign in, even with the correct password.

The lockout clears automatically after 15 minutes, you don't need to do anything for it to lift. You can also go through the /forgot-password flow to set a new password: this also clears the lockout immediately (it resets the failed-login counter).

In the current pilot there is no way to unlock early by contacting support.

Password requirements

The only requirement is that your password must be at least 10 characters long. There are no rules about uppercase letters, numbers, or symbols, though mixing them makes your password stronger.

If you don't receive a reset email

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Make sure you're using the same email address you signed up with.
  • Note that in the current pilot, email delivery is not yet live, links are logged internally and won't arrive in your inbox yet.
